The Fresno State track and field team concluded the second and final day of the Aztec Invitational with outstanding performances on Saturday at San Diego State University.

Caitlin Byrd highlighted the first day of action for the Fresno State men's and women's track teams on Friday as they started competition at the San Diego State Aztec Invitational. Byrd won the women's hammer throw with a toss of 185 feet, 10 inches.

The Fresno State outdoor track and field teams hit the road for the first time in the 2015 season as they travel south to the 37th Annual Aztec Invitational at the San Diego State Sports Deck on Friday and Saturday, March 27-28.
