FRESNO, Calif - Growing up in San Dimas, Calif., sophomore Bulldog cross country runner Mackenzie Landa never envisioned herself being a Division I athlete. Not playing any sports growing up, she was first introduced to running in gym class with the mile run. Taking a quick liking to it, she decided to start her athletic career in high school participating in cross country and track and field.
